Copy Outlook.pst to a new location on your new computer.
Rename Outlook.pst to Outlook.old at the old location on your new computer.
Restart Outlook and Outlook wil ask where your Outlook.pst is.
Select Outlook.pst at the new location. Done.

Go to the File Menu and Select Import and Export from the drop down list.
From the Import and Export Wizard Select Export to a File. Click Next. From
the Export box to a File Box Select Personal Folder File (.pst). Click Next.
From the Export to Folder Box either Select Personal folders if you want all
of the data or the individual folders e.g mail and Click next. Select the
location where you want the file saved. Click Finish. When the export is
complete a message will pop up.

Now go to the new PC and Click on File Menu and Select Import and Export
from the drop down list. Select Import from another program or file. Click
Next. From the Import a File box Select Personal Folder File (.pst). Click
Next. Select the location of your Exported file and Click Next. Depending
on the version of Outlook you are using You will be asked if you want to move
the contents into to same folder or a new one. Make your selction and Click
Finish. When the import is complete a message will pop up.

Normally, if your .pst file is on a network i.e. not stored locally on the
C: Drive, you should not need to import or export the emails, as your user id
should connect you to the correct files after you have logged in.

Hope this helps.

WRONG!!! Simply copy the .pst file to the new computer and open it.
Unless, of course, you don't mind losing connections between contacts and
activities/birthdays/anniversaries, custom forms, received dates, etc.

Importing/exporting is NEVER the correct method for migrating your Outlook
data.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, Supersonic asked:
