Default I want photo's to display without clicking the attachment link

As a long time user of Hotmail, I've been accustomed to seeing photo's that
are sent to me...open automatically in the body of the email message below
the text message.

Is there a way to set up my Outlook email to do the same ?

Thank you.

No, Outlook does not have that ability.

Outlook 2007 allows the user to click on images and Office document attachments and preview them in the reading pane.

I hear but cannot verify that OL2007 might have an option to enable
image preview but then you will need to sacrifice stability of your
computer to betaware.
