Default This is the stupidess thing I have ever seen - Replies with wrong email address ???

Hello ! I am new here, FYI I recently switched from Thunderbird to OE6, no problems, until now.
It is replying to the wrong email address, no matter what I have tried.... (When I set up a message filter rule, to either forward or reply to a message, there is no option for which email address to use while sending it, so it keeps using the wrong one, which is NOT the default)

I have several pop accounts set up in my OE6, one of which I have two accounts that use the same server. (different email addresses though) - So we will say I have email1, email2, email3 (2 and 3 use the same server)

When I set up for a message to be, for example, replied to ', it tries to reply the message using my Email3 account, EVEN THOUGH my Email2 account is set as default...

Ok, so I removed email3 acount and made sure email2 was defualt - I deleted all the filter rules and re-made them using Email2 to ensure it wasnt somethign stupid like that. When only using this one account, it works the way I want it to, and uses email2 to reply the message.

Except, when I go back and re-add email3 (Even doing everything manually and naming it different) it just starts using my email3 instead of the default email2 again ??!?!! WTF ??? Even though email2 is still default...

So now I thought i was alphabetical. Since both email2 and email3 are on the same server, I thought mayby email3 was being used because it is ladder in order. SO, I removed email2 completely, and on top of email3 I now added a new email4, and set email4 to default. (This means that my old email2 is now a completely new address, email4, which superseeds email3 and was even added AFTER email 3 was, and set to default. Keep in mind that at NO POINT in this agrivation has email3 ever been set to default)

BUT, Even with the brand new email4, It still uses email3 as the defualt reply. ALTHOUGH when you click 'new message' email4 is the defualt.
!?!?!?! WTF ? this is stupid, right ?

I am completely dumbfounded as to HOW and WHY this is doing this, and hope that somebody has an idea how to fix it ??

Lol, this is seriosuly one of the stupidest things I have ever seen (Next to Thunderbirds' message filters)

Thanks !

Would you expect a newsgroup dedicated to MathCAD or WordPerfect to
answer a question about Word?

Although the answer was short and to the point, Vandard wasn't trying
to be rude. These newsgroups are read by people who are familiar with
various software products and who will take the time to answer
questions BUT the people who are familiar with Outlook Express hang out
in a different newsgroup and may not see your post unless you post in
an OE newsgroup. People here may not even use OE, I know I don't and I
can't help you with your problem but if you'll go to:

microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlooke xpress

there'll be someone there who can help, I'm sure.
