Help Needed!!
I am using Outlook 2K3. I get bad username or password when I try to retrieve my emails from Comcast.net. If I test my Outlook configurations, the test completes successfully. Yet when I try to send/receive, I get a bad username/password message. I have removed/reinstalled Outlook 2K3. I have the deleted the pssp entry in the registry. Is there a file or registry setting that needs to be deleted also? Where could the corruption be? Any/All suggestions are welcomed. Your help in this matter will be greatly appreciated. As always, thanks in advance.. Blair |

Per log file, Outlook is sending a blank password. I am typing the
password, for some reason Outlook is sending a blank username. Does anybody know where the password entry is stored or read from? Blair "Blair Wilson" wrote in message ... Hi,
Try the following steps.. (1) When it prompts for the password, try typing the complete email address and check again. (2) Remove and re-add the email account in Outlook. (3) Configure the email account in Outlook Express and check if the error comes up there or not!!!( If it does work in Outlook Express, import the settings into Outlook using the Import/Export wizard in Outlook) Thanks, Mittu "Blair Wilson" wrote: Help Needed!!
