We're having a problem in which Outlook (2003 SP2 on XP SP2) does not always
display the "You replied to..." message or replied icon for a message for which a reply was sent. The behavior is very inconsistent, and doesn't seem to follow any pattern such as reply was sent with/without an attachment, original message had/did not have an attachment, external/internal recipient, etc. It happens across multiple machines and user accounts. Some people in our company would like to rely on this informational feature, but it is not reliable for this purpose. For now, we are using the workaround of right-clicking on the message and selecting Find All Related Messages to show if a reply has been sent, but this is not nearly as convenient. I've seen several other posts similar to this, but none have responses. Has anyone found any cure for this problem, or does anyone have any additional information about it? Thanks! Ryan |
