Hello!
I've just installed Office 2007 and although I can't activate it (It seems to be a common problem http://groups.google.com/group/micro...5c848b b04fb8) I cannot sync feeds from RSS Feeds folder with my PocketPC - ActiveSync doesn't list this folder on Settings form. I'm sure that such functionality is needed by many others. Could someone from Microsoft enlighten this situation. Thanx, Sergey Polyakov |

I've understand that ![]() Although Properties for RSS Feeds says that Type of folder - containing Mail and Post items. possibly a future version I'd like to hear more concrete vision from developers. will. I thought that I could create the rule which will moves all rss posts to
usual folder, but condition "from any RSS feed" cannot be checked and condiction "from RSS with specified text" doesn't allow specify text. BTW, what is right place to submit bugs? This news? http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/ProductFeedback/ is good service but not for Office ![]() "Sergey Polyakov" wrote in message ... active sync doesn't support that folder type. RSS feeds don't come through the inbox, so they aren't affected by rules.
They go directly to the folders. You can redirect them to other folders in the account setup but I don't think it will help in this situtation. your best bet is to use an different RSS reader. (I can sync newsgator feeds). i use Ol2007 against Exchange mailbox and open it with Ol2003 as well - the RSS folder is not available for syncing from 2003 - probably because of the special mapi properties added to it. If you view the folder properties using OutlookSpy, you'll see it's not a standard mail and post folder. Follow the bug reporting instructions for the source of your copy - AFAIK, there is no bug reporting tool for those using the public preview. BTW - is this with activesync 3.8 or 4.x? not that I expect 4.x to support it either, since it came out before Office. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Coauthor, OneNote 2003 for Windows (Visual QuickStart Guide) Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "Sergey Polyakov" wrote in message ...
