I recently upgraded to Outlook from OE. I am used to an email address in my
address book appearing automatically after I type the first several letters. Outlook isn't doing this. How can I make it happen? |

That feature was added in OL2002. What version are you using?

Just in case you are expecting more than you'll get.....
Outlook only suggests names which you have recently used. This autocompletion function is NOT looking at your Contacts - only names you recently sent email to. Hi,
Delete OutlookProfile.NK2 file from 'C:\Documents and Settings\ProfileName\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook' folder. If you are planning to use the same in future just *rename* it. I checked one more box that included the words"autocomplete." That may have
done it. Don't know how I missed it before because that's the first place I went. Thanks. I'll let you know. "Vince Averello [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: See if the suggest option is checked he Tools menu Options Email Advanced "Kidz Writer" wrote in message ... I'm using 2002 version. |
