Because you installed a second browser, the file type options for the HTML
types have been damaged. You can reset to use IE by starting IE and
clicking ToolsInternet OptionsProgramsReset Web Settings. An article

I have previously just clicked on a hyperlink in an email (Outlook 2000),
and my browser opens automatically, and I'm there.... Last week (and I don't
know if this has anything to do with the problem, but being Microsoft,
anything is possible...), I installed Internet Explorer (the new beta
version from the MS web site).

Now hyperlinks don't work. Instead, a folder opens as below....
