Red face Mis-directing email

My apologies, after using a few different search terms I found out how to fix this...

Good morning,
I have sent an email to a Lindsey of another company several times, rather than our accounting person, Linda. I just caught myself before I did it again. Lindsey is not in my contact list, but I send her emails so often that her name pops up first. Is there any way to remove her name from my sent mail info?

Ex: I open a new email, type "Lind" in the To field, hit tab, thinking it's going to go to Linda, type my subject & email, hit send, and a little while later get an email from Lindsey that I did it again. Aargh!!

Can I somehow remove, or edit Lindsey's name in my sent mails? I know if she were in my contacts I could do it easily, but the info isn't coming from there, it's coming from my past sent emails and pops up as the first option.

Any chance y'all can help me stop looking like a total dunce?
~Kyn
