How to make outlook perform more like Blackberry?

Smith or JSmith and it would pull it up but outlook will only
remember
the way the "display name" is set or the email its self. Also this

works if I have sent the person an email before.

I thought I came up with half the solution which was to work offline
and send an email to all my contacts to add them (which would work
until I added somebody new) but all of the "display names" contain a
Mr/Ms and make it nearly useless as I won't want to type Mr. John
Smith
to send him an email every time. There doesn't appear to be an option
to
remove the title field from the display name as far as I can tell.

Any suggestions?
