Sir,
Understand how to select FAX option from the print pull down menu. However, my test selection address (to a local number) got a voice message that I need to select 1 or 0 . Goal is to input a couple hundred FAX numbers for distribution of letters. Can I just add names with FAX phone numbers to the contact list, and then create a distribution group (know how to do that) ??? Will the entire list of FAX numbers from the contact list be configured automatically to broadcast the entire FAX list? Appreciate a solution and detail instructions. James Hall |

What fax program were you thinking you would use for this? You will not find
one that integrates with Outlook and supports sending to multiple recipients. You most certainly would not use Print to Fax for this. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Cohocton Wind Watch" wrote in message ... Russ,
Thanks for the reply. Well I have the ability to add FAX numbers into the Brothers address book for my 7820N machine and fax using that device. But would rather use a software program that can access OUTLOOK group lists if possible. From your answer, it seems that I may need a completely separate program (that can import OUTLOOK contacts) that will stagger the faxing (not all sent at once) while using the modem in the computer. Am I understand correctly? If yes, can you recommend any such software that is user friendly and has the ability to broadcast ??? Appreciate your input. I've documented the options for Microsoft fax software that can integrate
with Outlook he http://home.indy.rr.com/russval/fax.htm Outlook 2007 is the same as 2003 in this regard and you can add Vista Fax and Scan to this list. None of these basic fax modules will support sending to more than 2 or 3 recipients at one time. You should be looking at a fax board and third party software for your needs. Some of them may be able to integrate with Outlook. I do not test or monitor those products. You might try looking he http://www.mainpine.com/software.html http://www.slipstick.com/addins/services/groupfax.asp -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Cohocton Wind Watch" wrote in message ...
