there should be the possibility to send fax directly from ol2000. articles say i should install the faxservices coming directly with W2K (to install over system/software, add/remove w-componentes)... but there are no fax components, i.g. no console, no client , no server ??? :-) Thanks Frank |

Not sure what articles you're reading. I'd read this one:
http://www.slipstick.com/addins/services/win2000fax.htm There you'll see that you do not install Windows 2000 Fax from Add/Remove. It is installed automatically whenever the OS detects a compatible modem. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Frank Schrade" wrote in message ... moin ! there should be the possibility to send fax directly from ol2000. articles say i should install the faxservices coming directly with W2K (to install over system/software, add/remove w-componentes)... but there are no fax components, i.g. no console, no client , no server ??? :-) Thanks Frank |
