Default Outlook Express malformed header

When I attempt to send a email message with an attachment, the message is
blocked and the reason is "malformed message".
What happens is the attachment becomes the Subject line.

How do I correct this problem?

Default Outlook Express malformed header

All attachments, or one in particular?

What is the complete error message?

What is the size of the attachment?

Is this going to an e-mail recipient, or a newsgroup?

How are you attaching it? Insert | File Attachment, or Right Click | Send To
| Mail Recipient? Whichever you are doing, try it the other way.

Are you right clicking a file in the Windows Explorer and using Send To
Mail Recipient? If so, you can alter the generated Subject line before
sending.
