Default IE6-OE using Bellsouth.net's DSL to MSN/Hotmail server

Hello it's been awhile since i've posted here. Here goes:

My 'puter's OS is Win98-SE

I subscribe to both, Bellsouth.net & MSN.com's IP services (please don't
ask why).

Originally, i had MSN Dial-up IP service using OE6 to get my msn ip
email from Msn/Hotmail http server. Then i added Bellsouth's Fastaccess
DSL service.

However now, i can not (re) set-up my OE6 (using Bellsouth.net's DSL
service) to retrieve my email rom that same Msn/Hotmail http server. I
think i get Error 300. Must it remain a Dial-up line?
I've tried almost everything i could find (in the way of help & fix
methods) through Google.

Can can any one help me with this? Thanks for any help any of you can
provide.

BTW- I use Incredimail program (comes free with Bellsouth DSL service)
to get my Bellsouth accounts email.
