Outlook Express 6.00.2900.5512, all updates applied. Mail server is Windows
2003 Std SP2. Messages arrive and are distributed correctly by SMTP and POP3. I have OE configured with 3 different accounts on that server. It retrieves mail from one of the accounts with no problem. The other two it receives nothing from. There is no error in OE when Send/Receive is clicked. On the server, I can see messages sitting in the appropriate mailboxes. I can send using those accounts with no problem. I turned on the logging in OE and can see no problem there. I'm using SPA so it's difficult to tell which account is which, but I believe they are checked in the same order they appear in the accounts list and I see no errors with any of the conversations in any case. Both of those accounts have the following conversation: POP3: 14:32:56 [rx] +OK User successfully logged on POP3: 14:32:56 [tx] STAT POP3: 14:32:56 [rx] +OK 0 0 POP3: 14:32:56 [tx] QUIT Which seems to indicate that there are no messages - yet I can see messages in the mailbox folders for those two accounts. That seems to suggest it is a server error, but I am stumped here. Any suggestions? |
