I belong to a group where we send a monthly meeting e-mail announcement with
an MS Word attachment. (Plus info in the body of the e-mail for those who can't open an attachment.) One person told me she couldn't read it this month because it opened in "Reading Layout" and instead of two pages showing across from each other, one was on top of the other. I never heard of Reading Layout. She said she does have MS Word, but doesn't know how to open in it; she said this: "I do use Outlook Express. Only some of the attachments appear in Reading Layout. I don’t know where it came from. I think I have MS word and WordPad but I don’t know how to get things to open in them. I just click on the attachment at the top of the page. All the others that you sent in the past came out fine." Can you offer any explanation or any way I can help her with this? |
