When I open a new window to send an email, if I start to type the
first few letters of the addresses name it pops up of course, but so do some old email addresses of folks I've deleted off the Contacts list long ago. How do I get them permanently out of my system? Many thanks! |

Start | Programs | Accessories | Address Book. If they are in there, delete
them. Reboot & try again. If that doesn't do it, do an Advanced search and include Hidden Files and Folders, and search for: *.wab Open each AB that you find and delete the address. Reboot and try once more. That should do it. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express Imperial Beach, CA wrote in message ...
