Default newsgroups forward ?

Prior to a few days ago I could easily forward any article from any
newsgroups to those in my adress book by just clicking on the forward icon
and putting a few letters of the name. But something strange has happened.
Sometimes I get a message that another program is trying to access and I
must approve and then I get a generic blank like if you try to mail
something from Word. Can anyone tell me how to get my old way back and what
might have caused the problem?
tnx

Hi Henry,

Is Outlook Express selected as the default mail program in Internet Options
(from IE Tools menu or Internet Options Control Panel, Programs menu)?

Is MS Outlook your default Mail Client and are you using Outlook Express
solely for News?
