Transferring Emails Between 2 Hard Drives
Hi there,
I recently learned how to get my emails from another hard drive and did so successfully thanks to Bruce Hagen, Ron Summer and Eugene. Thank you so very much for your valuable assistance. However, in searching for all *.dbx files on the old hard drive, I discovered they were in 2 {GUID} locations of which both have an Inbox, Outbox, Deleted Items, and Sent Items. Do I import those files also? Thanks |

You should, since they were created with the use of another identity in the
old setup of Outlook Express. -- Jim Pickering, MVP, Outlook Express https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/pr...8-1171988A62D6 Please deliver feedback to the newsgroup, so that others can be helped. Import would be the same for those as well.

Create a new Identity.
Switch to the new Identity and import the other dbx files. If you don't want the messages, you can delete the new Identity. If you do want the messages, you can either use the new Identity to archive the messages or you can import into your other Identity. -- Ron Sommer "Michelle" wrote in message ...
