Where can I find step by step directions to moving the message storage
folder from its default location to my data partition where it can be backed up. I found options/maintenance where the store folder is defined, but how do I both change it and also move all the old messages to the new folder where OE can find them. Thanks. Jeff |

I followed the instructions and OE copied the message files to the new
folder on my data partition. But I notice that it only "copied" the files to the data partition. It did not delete the originals after copying them. Seems like a waste of space having all these files in 2 locations. Is it safe to now delete the original dbx files in the C: partition? Once you are sure things are working at the new location, you can delete
the old files. Check the dates on the files. The ones at the new location should have recent dates. The ones at the old location should not. -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "Jeff" wrote in message ...
