how to copy OE Folders from another PC

The procedure is quite simple, however can you inform me as to your method
of how you plan to get the information from one PC to the other.

Direct connection?

Floppy disk?

Network?

Memory stick?

CD?

I should have added.

The simple procedure is to copy Outlook Express message store folder from
one PC to the other, then in other PC's Outlook Express.use it's import
feature.

To locate the folder to copy, open Outlook Express, choose Tools, on it's
menu choose Options, in the Options dialog window select the Maintenance
Tab, choose Store Folder. This display the location of the folder to copy
and move to other PC.

On the other PC save the copied folder to a location of your choice.

On this PC open Outlook Express, choose File, on it's menu select Import, on
it's expanding menu choose Messages.

Using the Outlook Express Import dialog wizard browse to where you saved the
above copied folder.

The simple procedure instruction I wrote will do what you request. Here it
is again with a couple notes.

Copy Outlook Express message *store folder* from one PC to the other, then
in other PC's Outlook Express.use it's import
feature.

To locate the *store folder* to copy, open Outlook Express, choose Tools, on
it's menu choose Options, in the Options dialog window select the
Maintenance Tab, choose Store Folder. This displays the location of the
folder to copy and move to other PC.

Copy this folder to your memory stick.

Note: the *store folder* contains all your Outlook Express emails and their
folders and may take some time for the copy procedure to complete,
especially if it is a slow memory stick.

On the other PC save the copied folder on the memory stick to a location of
your choice.

Note: it is not wise to run programs or files directly from memory sticks,
that is why you copy it's information (in this case) *store folder* to a
location on the hard drive.

On this PC open Outlook Express, choose File, on it's menu select Import, on
it's expanding menu choose Messages.

Using the Outlook Express Import dialog wizard browse to where you saved the
above copied folder.

Note: during the Import dialog wizard procedure you will be asked what
folders to import, all or selected, your choice.

Try it!!!
