Oh, I'm sorry, I'll remember that for next time. Thank you.

I installed it and its changed the Dictionary to the English Dictionary.

Thank you again.

Hi, sorry to bother you, I managed to get the spell check back, but it
only
has the option on American English, but I live in the Uk. Is there
somewhere
where I can get the English dictionary installed?

Thank you

John.

However you can install a free one that woprks very well. I have used
it for several years. Download it from here.

It sounds like when you were at the download site, you had the choice of Run
or Save and you saved it to the Desktop. If you click on the icon now does
it give you the option to install? If so, close all other programs and do
it.

Default No Spell Check in Outlook Express.

You said it is not in Outlook Express in your e-mail. Are in a New Message
window and the Spelling button is not active? You can't see it if you are
just in OE and not Create Mail.

If that is not the case, you may have a bad download. Control Panel |
Add/Remove Programs. Remove the spell check program. Restart your computer
and go back to Major Geeks. Locate the download site and then make sure all
other programs are closed and turn off your anti-virus. Now select Download
and you can choose Run and it will install immediately, just follow the
prompts. Or, choose Save and save it to any location on your PC you wish. Go
there next and click on the icon and Run to install the spell check. Either
way you do it, restart your machine and then open OE and see if the Spelling
button is active in a New Message window.
