Hi all,
I am running XP Home with SP2, and Office XP with SP3 installed. When I am in Internet Explorer and click Tools | Internet Options and select the Program tab, the only two options that are available to me as HTML editors are Notepad and Excel. Additionally, when I click on File in the title bar, the choice I see in the drop-down menu is "Edit with Notepad." There was a time when I could see -- and set -- MS Word as my default IE6 HTML editor. Then, for no apparent reason (although I'm sure there is some reason) IE6 no longer offered Word as a choice. Still later, Word was again available for my selection. Does anyone know why I seem to lose Word as my HTML editor choice from time to time? More importantly is there some way that if it goes away as a choice I can easily get it back? Alan |
