Do an Advanced Search and include Hidden Files and Folders. Search for:

*.wab

In the search results, determine which is your current Address Book. Right
click and Send To | My Documents.

Open the Address Book in OE and File | Import | Address Book (wab) and point
to where you saved it in My Documents.

Done, incl Folders, et al...but I checked each .wab, and only the "old" one
was at all current. But, it isn't the one that was on my OE yesterday. There
were correct email addresses, but also many I had deleted many moons ago,
but no more .wabs.

I know b/c in some of the Groups were old addressees that I had deleted as I
said, many moons ago, before using this Profile.

Thank you though...I'll muddle through.

But, why was that in My Documents???

WELL, my IE designated page won't open, either. I have a URL as the
designated page to open, and its not there. Other URLs can be accessed,
though.

Search for *~* and if you find anything, then give it a wab file extension
and click on it and see if it opens. There is a backup file of the address
book that has a ~ in the filename.

After performing my monthly backup on to my SanDisks, last night, today I
had no OE address book, and no address book in my Fax Address Book (internal
fax), and my IE will not download my own URL that I have selected in my IE
6.

I think I'll have to do System Restore, because my Delete key on my
keyboard won't even work, now. Sheesh. I have no idea what happened. I back
up monthly and this has never happened.
