Default System crash requires manual extraction of emails and addfress boo

Hi All,

Following a system crash it is necessary to re-install XP.
Where do I find my Outlook Express address book and emails so I can copy
them before the format?
I have started the computer with a surrogate drive and can view the crashed
drive easily (I've already saved My Documents), unfortunately it appears that
an OS repair is not possible. All I need to do is identify the files in
question and back them up ready to replace when the 'clean' install is
complete.
Is there any way of backing-up the settings as well? i.e. the accounts and
all their details so I don't have to go all through the set-up again?

Thanks,

Jack

Bruce,

Thanks for the links. The first and third are currently no good for me as I
can't start XP, and therefore OE. However, the second has given me something
to work with.

Thanks,

Jack
