You might as well finish it too..
Perform the opposite if one decides to return to OE, though if additional
'Contacts' features are used in OL do not expect all those features to be
available upon return to OE and use of the *.wab file.

what I would do is to export the WAB as CSV then import it into Outlook.
then back to OE and use the Address Book and turn on SHARING.
this makes Outlook the boss of the address book/contacts.

if you simply enable sharing without putting your address into outlook it
has none.

I would like to enable sharing of the OE6 Address Book with Outlook. I
would be grateful if you would confirm my understanding below and if you
agree with the method.

Initially I was going to import the current WAB file to Outlook.
Currently
I have a registry entry indicating where the current wab file is located
ie.
| HKEY_CURRENT_USER SoftwareMicrosoftWABWAB4WAB File Name. Do I
need
to delete this? I assume that once this is deleted, under HelpAbout,
the
location of the file will not longer be there. Then I was going to add
the
registry setting to enable sharing of OE address book with Outlook, as
described in the following link and I refer to
http://www.insideoe.com/files/wab.htm#share. I was then hoping that if
I
use OE, and a new contact is added, then it would also appear in Outlook,
and vica versa.

Please can you confirm this is the correct method.

Thanks in advance.
