this makes Outlook the boss of the address book/contacts.

if you simply enable sharing without putting your address into outlook it
has none.

Initially I was going to import the current WAB file to Outlook.
Currently
I have a registry entry indicating where the current wab file is located
ie.

to delete this? I assume that once this is deleted, under HelpAbout,

location of the file will not longer be there. Then I was going to add
the
registry setting to enable sharing of OE address book with Outlook, as

http://www.insideoe.com/files/wab.htm#share. I was then hoping that if
I
use OE, and a new contact is added, then it would also appear in Outlook,
and vica versa.

Please can you confirm this is the correct method.
