ERROR MESSAGE, CAN RECEIVE BUT NOT SEND MESSAGES
At our office we are on a network, using a soho watchgard firebox 6 router.
Usually our email works fine. About once a month, we are able to get on the internet, and receive messages, but get the following error when trying to send; An unknown error has occured. ........Server Response: '421 smtp.fuse.net connection refused from (lists IP Address), Port: 25 Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 421, Error Number: 0x800CCC67. Pls help, this is making me crazy. Usually if I reset our router all is well, but this time it did not work. Thanks! |

ERROR MESSAGE, CAN RECEIVE BUT NOT SEND MESSAGES
The people to ask would be Fuse.net They are refusing the connection
to their SMTP mail server. Perhaps from their logs, they can determine the reason for the refusal. -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "Melissa" wrote in message ... ERROR MESSAGE, CAN RECEIVE BUT NOT SEND MESSAGES
Thanks so much for the responses! Turns out Fuse did find the error- a
person in our network tried to send an email message to an invalid email address. The message went to his outbox and kept trying to send. This caused problems for the whole network! We deleted the message from his outbox and all is well now. Who would of thought?!
