I have OE6 running on XP Home. When I create an email in HTML format and
then attempt to insert a picture (Insert/Picture), I get the dialog that lets you 'browse' for the picture. When I click the 'browse' button, the picture selection dialog appears. All appears to be OK, but when I attempt to use the dialog nearly every button on the dialog won't work. About the only thing I can do is navigate to various folders by clicking them in the folder display. I can't 'Cancel' or even close the browse window with the 'X'. The only way I've found to get out of the situation is to use Task Manager to force OE to close. The 'browse' dialog window even appears to be cut off just above the bottom border. Can anyone shed any light on this problem and give me a clue how to fix? Thanks, Harry |

Try creating a new identity, switch to the new identity and create an
account for mail and test its ability to insert a graphic file. You may have a damaged registry entry for your existing identity. -- Jim Pickering, MVP, Windows Mail Apps https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/pr...8-1171988A62D6 Please deliver feedback to the newsgroup, so that others can be helped.
