Try re-registering Outlook Express as your default mail program by doing the
following.

Go to Start | Run and type the following:

"C:\PROGRAM FILES\OUTLOOK EXPRESS\MSIMN.EXE" /reg
(Check the path to msimn.exe to make sure that is correct)

Make certain to include the quotations marks and the space between the
ending quotation mark and the slash.

Then open Internet Explorer and go to Tools\Internet Options\Programs and
set OE as the default mail (and news) program.

Updates to Office (if installed) can create this problem so you might want
to tuck that knowledge away in the back of your mind in case it crops up
again. Thanks for the feedback.
