Default mailboxes empty after crash

After accessing my mail, my system "froze", the only option was to do a crash
start.
The following day, trying to access mail, found all mailboxes devoid of mail
except for sent items.
The additional mail boxes created have also dissappeared.
I did a reboot and still all missing.
Can anyone help me please

Probably the freeze damaged something in OE causing it to lose the location
of its data files so it created a new message store folder. Hopefully this
will recover the messages; if not, post back.

In OE go to Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store Folder and write down
where OE is storing its data. Then click Start | Search | All files and
folders | More advanced options. Check the box to Search hidden files and
folders. Now search for Inbox.dbx and note the other location.
Back in OE, go to File | Import and import the messages from the other
location.

See here for message recovery techniques: www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#4 and
points 2 and 3 for the future.

If Frank's suggestions didn't work, then you may need the extract from disk
feature of DBXpress.
