Default Viewing messages without downloading?

I use OE6 on my primary computer (at work). When I'm at home, I've used OE6
to view my mail as well, but then the messages are stored on my home computer
and then are not available to my office computer. Accordingly, I've stopped
using OE6 on my home computer, and have resorted to webmail -- but the
webmail is cumbersome and unsatisfactory. I'd like to use OE6 on my home
computer as well, but only if it doesn't remove my messages, so that the next
time I check my mail on my office computer, these messages will be available.
Can anyone help me with this issue? Thanks!

As long as you have administrative rights, and both machines are using the
same e-mail address:

To access e-mail with the same address on two different computers:

On both machines: Tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Advanced. Check:
Leave a copy of messages on the server.

On one machine, also check: Delete messages after X days or the server will
eventually get clogged up. Choose the lowest number of days that is
reasonable for what you need.
