When sending large attachments, the message(s) is/are held in the outbox and
sends numerous times to each recipient. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Any help is appreciated. Thank you

I presume that sending messages with small attachments or no attachments
send OK.

Are the messages actually arriving at the recipients multiple times or
does OE give you an error message when it tries to send?

If the recipients are receiving multiple messages, does each one contain
the complete attachment? If not in your OE go to Tools, Accounts, Mail,
Properties, Advanced and uncheck the Break Apart option.

If the messages have sent successfully already, select File, Work
Offline, then select the Outbox folder, highlight the problem messages
and press the Delete key.

Also, while the Outbox folder is selected do a File, Folder, Compact.

Thank you so much for responding.

Yes, smaller messages are sent OK. We do get an error, but there is no
explanation for the error -- it is blank.

the ususal cause is the messages are being broken apart to make transmission
not crash
the receiver should be able to take the various duplicates (which are not
duplicates but segments of the original file) and combine and decode them
F1 (help)
Index
break

and read about "breaking up large messages"
