Hi, thanks for your prompt reply. I turned off Norton email scanning and
still the messages won't get out of the outbox and I'm still receiving the
same error message.
I also read the article you are referring to, and, while I do have multiple
Hotmail e-mail accounts, none of them is assigned to a single e-mail identity
[whatever that means], they are all different.
What else is left to do?

I deleted the outbox.dbx file from the OE store folders and it didn't
work.
I'll try turning off the email scanning fron Norton and see how that
works.
But if this were not to work either, what else can I try to fix this
problem?
