Default Not Installed Address Book - I cannot send? - Windows XP

I am a novice I use windows XP version, Outlook Express 6. At present when
trying to send or find address book it says Outlook Express had encountered a
problem and needs to close, everytime, before it was saying Address book not
properly attached etc
