I am currently migrating my system from one machine to another.

I have 1 identity with 3 mail accounts (2 x POP3 and 1 x IMAP) and 2 news
accounts (same news server/different user names). I exported the mail and
news accounts from the old machine as IAF files and imported them to the
instance of OE6 on the new machine. The accounts appear o.k.

Also exported and then imported the contacts list as a WAB file. Again, all
data transferred successfully.

I then transferred all the DBX files (system folders, user defined folders
and newsgroups) from the store directory on the old machine to equivalent
folder on the new machine. When loading OE6 offline on the new machine the
archived mail messages for all 3 accounts appear but only the headers and
postings for the 3 subscribed newsgroups on the second (smaller) news
account appear. There are 15 subscribed newsgroups on the main news account
and the DBX files have definitely been transferred between machines. The
account name is visible in the Folders pane but there are no newsgroups
attached to it.

Can anyone suggest a reason why the newsgroups and downloaded messages on
this account are not being displayed? It wouldn't be that big a deal to
manually re-subscribe to the various groups and download the messages but I
am curious why this is happening, particularly as I have moved between
machines in the past without any problems that I can recall.
