Default Associate emails with date

Is it possible to assign emails sent or received to a calendar date? For
example, if I send out a meeting announcement in March for a meeting that
will be in June, as people respond whether or not they're coming, I would
like to attach the email to the date of the meeting so everything related to
that date will be listed?
Thanks, Jeannine

If you open the appointment, I think you can drag the mail message to the
notes section, attaching to the appointment.

Easier to use Insert-Item-As Text.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, Brian Tillman asked:
