We have author rights set for everyone in the company so they can book
corporate resources via Outlook. If the user is viewing a shared calendar and clicks to setup a new appointment, it uses the resource they were viewing as the organizer. This causes a resource issue because it is booking a resource that is not going to be used. Ex. 1. Viewing Conf Rm 101 calendar 2. Click New | Appointment 3. If you look at the scheduling tab, it will have Conf Rm 101 set as the organizer instead of yourself. 4. You add Conf Rm 201 as a resource. 5. Now both rooms will be booked even though you had no intentions of using 101. Is that correct, should users with autor rights be able to essentially act as the resource and schedula a meeting as the resource? |
