If they truly are Archived, simple look in the Archive calendar.

Right click on the calendar folder and choose Properties. Then look on the
archive tab - is archiving enabled? If not, are you syncing with a handheld device? When you do and its deleted from the device its also deleted from outlook on the next sync. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: "beckyw29" wrote in message ... is there a way to keep my calendar from clearing itself? i cant see all of my previous appointments etc and need these!! ![]() |

I recently loaded Office Pro 2007 trial version (prev ver was '03). I
noticed shortly after that all my calendar items from before 9/1/09 are gone. I have not chosen to archive. But I did today go in and disable the autoarchive option. Maybe it did it automatically before I knew it. Is there a way to find the calendar entries that are missing? I don't see an archive file in any folders. Also, I do have past entries in Palm Desktop that I'd like to import into Outlook. It wouldn't give me the items from the past few months that are now missing, but it would give me the older stuff. I can't figure out how to import those into Outlook. I do use a Blackberry, and I have it set to do a two-way sync. After I loaded the 2007 all my entries from the past are also now gone from my Blackberry. I am guessing Outlook did an archive, and then when I synced it deleted those past items from the Blackberry too. Very disconcerting to have lost several months of business and personal data, so if you can help me to recover that, awesome! But even if I can import the older data AND set it up so this doesn't happen again, I would be very pleased. Thank you!! what is the 'keep' setting on the blackberry?
http://www.slipstick.com/calendar/missing_appt.asp check the deleted items folder - if they are not there, you'll need to recover them from a backup pst. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: Poll: What version of Outlook do you use? http://forums.slipstick.com/showthread.php?t=27072 "Julie" wrote in message ...
