Reminders keep coming up in Outlook that cannot be cleared by normal means.
If you try to snooze or dismiss, it comes back with an reminder error message
that says Cannot turn off reminder. Cannot locate recurrence information for
this appointment. you may be reminded again. I have tried to run
outlook.exe /cleanreminders and it doesn't fix it. Any ideas? thanks, Paul

View your calendar in a table view like Events and add the Reminders field.
See if any of the items with reminders match the entries in the Reminder
window. If so, delete the items from the calendar.

View your calendar in a table view like Events and add the Reminders field.

Don't try to open it. Select it, then hold Shift and click Delete. Does it
go away now?

I am having the same problem, and have tried all of the suggested fixes
without success. I do sync with my Blackberry Bold, ATT network. This is
very annoying as it occurs often. Help!

My problem is similar, but different.

First os all, this seems to be a relatively new problem, so I am wondering
if it didn't start from an update.

I am using Outlook 2007 in a 64-bit Windows 7 environment.

I get reminders for both appointments and follow-ups on e-mail messages.
The reminders are valid, the appointments and e-mails exist and the reminders
were purposefully set.

The reminders are able to either be dismisses or snoozed for whatever length
of time I choose.

However, the reminder always pops back up within a couple of minutes. The
only way to stop it from reoccuring is to open either the e-mail or the
appointment and clear the reminder.

I downloaded MFCMAPI and followed all the instructions but still have the
same problem as Paul--the appointment does not show in my calender but will
show if I search--however I can not open it or delete it. error 0x8004fceb.
drives me craxy--keeps me from being able to hotsynch anyone know what to
do--i've paid for advice burned many hours trying to get this to delete. any
help you may have?
