Default can i add existing contact birthdays to outlook calender?

Birthdays and anniversaries don't show on Outlook calender although they are
in Outlook Contacts. I must be missing an option here.
Help?
Thanks,
Charlie

If you edit a contact and save it, does their birthday show up then?

Did you import the contacts?
See http://www.rsoutlook.com/us/prods/prod05.html - unless you only have a
few contacts you can edit and resave to force them to generate the change,
this add-in is a good value.
