Default Duplicate Meetings/Appointments

Does Outlook have an option to where if you try to schedule two things at the
same time it automatically alerts you that there is a conflict? I'm using it
to book appts but they are all over the place and reoccuring too so I would
like it if Outlook automatically told me if there was a conflict.
