Default Colored Categories in Public Folders

In 2003 you could use colored categories in public folders and everyone would
see the same color. This does not appear to be the case in Outlook 2007.
For instance, I created a test Purple Category and colored it purple. In the
public folder on my PC it shows as purple. If I go to another PC the
category name comes across and shows as being the Purple Category, but it is
not colored purple. Is there a way to get the category colors to come from
one central location so that all colors on the public folder show the same on
each PC?

What you'd used in OL03 were flags, not categories. If you want to see the
same colored categories on all of your computers, you must create the same
categories and colors on every computer.

If you need a tool to share your categories, please see the link in my
signature.
