Default add random date to recurrence

Is it possible to create an ad hoc meeting date in a recurrence pattern?
Instead of having to recreate a new meeting entry for one or more dates that
may fall out of the recurring pattern.

Default add random date to recurrence

You can create exceptions. This is generally by moving existing appointments
to a new time that is not within the recurrence.
