Default Year at a Glance in Calendar?

Currently I can access my calendar on per day, week or month. Is there a
facility in Outlook that will give me a general overall view of the year? I
find this facility in Lotus Organiser handy eg to get a view of the year, to
see what day a particular date falls on, to select a date in order to make an
entry, and to flip backwards and forwards between years. I miss it in
Outlook.

Use the Date Navigator to show a year at a glance.

Thanks. But where do I find the Date Navigator. It's not in any of the
toolbar entries (File, View, Go, Tools etc.). And if I enter it in "Outlook
Help", none of the responses mention "Date Navigator". Am I missing something.

With the help of Google I found what the Date Navigator is, which in my
version of Outlook 2007 shows two months at a time. I also found the useful
"Go To" facility. But can I display a full year?

You can set the number of rows using the options button and then drag the
leftmost border to extend it to a year.

Thanks for your prompt response. I see how dragging the border works. My
Navigation pane is on the left of the screen and I can drag the monthly
calendar using the RIGHT border. This gives me a six month view. I have
clicked on Tools, and Options and Calendar Options but I can't find any
facility to increase the number of rows.

The To-do bar is on the right and you can control the # of calendars in it.
If you collapse the calendar groups on the left you've see more navigation
calendars in each column.

Default Year at a Glance in Calendar?

Thanks for all the advice. But maybe I'm missing something in all of this?
My need is really simple. Can I find in Outlook 2007:
1) a page that will show me the months of the entire year (say 2009)
2) a facility that will allow me to select and view any year (say 2015 or
1949) without scrolling through the intervening years.
I would have thought this would be simple and intuitive in a calendar
programme. But I find that the most number of months I can see in one go is
six,by dragging the edge of the Navigation Pane rightwards; or three, by
dragging the edge of the To Do pane leftwards. I can of course bring up any
particular month of the year but the most I can look at at one time is six.
How do I find the yearly view?

Default Year at a Glance in Calendar?

I finally got it! Even worked out for myself how to find "options" in To Do
by right clicking with the mouse. And to use the Go To facility to display
years in the past or future. Many thanks for your advice and patience. But
I do feel that this facility, which is pretty basic for a calendar programme,
should be more accessible and intuitive.
