Is there a way to synchronize calendars in Outlook without Microsoft Exchange?
Specifically, here is what I'd like to do. I have a laptop with Outlook on it and a desktop at home with Outlook. I generally use my laptop for scheduling everything in Outlook. What I would like to do would be to send that info to my desktop once or twice a week somehow. I travel alot and it's hard keeping my wife informed about all the places I am going and when. Well, if I could sync calendars, then I could simply put all my trips into my calendar on my laptop and then update the one at home a couple of times a week so she would have access to the same info. Is there a sync pack or something I could e-mail to myself at home and then import that info into my Outlook at home? Thank you! |

you can use 3rd party utilities or if she has her own address, create your
appointments as meeting requests and invite her. (This works with outlook or gmail.) see http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/share.asp for more info and links to utilities. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com.
