Default Resizing the calendar window?

When I receive an appt invitation and there is a conflict with an existing
appt, I click on the calendar button in the opened invitation to see what the
conflict is and make the decision on whether to accept or reject the
invitation. The calendar that opens when I do this is in a small window,
although I can drag the corners of the window to enlarge it. Is there any
way to permanently enlarge the window so I don't have to manually enlarge it
each time? Thx.
