Default Messenging Interface Returned Unknown Error

I was trying to print my boss' calendar in daily view, something I do all the
time. I received this message:

The messenging interface returned an unknown error. If this problem
persists, restart Outlook.

It persisted. I restarted Outlook. It persisted. I rebooted. It still
persists.

What can I do? Anything? I really should be able to print his calendar!
