Default share calendar events

Our office staff has standardized categories for events/appts - we would like
to share these among staff - we are able to share the event - however - we
lose the category in the process - is there a way to send the event with the
receiving party maintaining the event categorized

Default share calendar events

How are you sending the events? Is the category removed or just not colored?
Are you using rules to remove categories?

you need to use upgrade to color categories after adding items with new
categories to color them. (right click on the outlook today level folder and
choose properties. click the upgrade button.)

See http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/olcat.asp for utilities that make it
easier to share categories.
