Default Reminders in calendars

I have three calendars, two of which are internet syncronise using
SYNCING.NET. Is there any way I can stop reminders from specified calendars
poping up? I only want reminders from the default calendar to show and not
the shared calendars... Hoping there's a pro who knows!

Normally, without third-party addins, you should only get reminders from
your default folders (like Calendar, Tasks, etc). Are you using anything
special on your machine?

Hi Vince.
I've just sent a reply to your other answer about the contacts folder. The
"Special" thing we're using is SYNCING.NET, but I'm sure it would be an
Outlook setting to turn off reminders from sub-calendars. For example my
wife's calendar syncs with my pc, and similarly mine with her's. What it
means is that all her reminders pop up on my PC as well as mine.... It get's
very confusing when I get reminded of a leg waxing appointment...!

There's no setting about subfolders since Outlook won't fire reminders from
subfolders. It's a constant complaint around these parts. One of the MVPs
even sells an addin to add that feature. Could be that Syncing.NET adds the
feature.

Just to check, are the items in their own folder or all dumped into the
Calendar folder with different categories.

Dear Richard,

if you use Outlook 2007 you will get reminders also from all subfolders.
Only in Outlook 97-2003 you get reminders only from the default folder.

Is there any way I can stop reminders from specified calendars

I would ask the developer company how to stop this "feature". Normally if
you do not select a reminder in a task or calendar item it makes no sense
the get a reminder. Do you get a reminder also if you did not set (activate)
the reminder?

I would ask the developer company of "syncing net".
