Default NOTHING happens when I click New or edit existing appointments

This just started...Now, when I click on "New", it literally does NOTHING! I
can't add any new appointments, nor can I edit existing ones. I can only
delete. I've run a virus scan on Outlook--nothing there. I tried to sync my
phone to my desktop & the only things that wouldn't sync were my
appointments...I have a Motorola Q9 & have never had any issues with any of
this before.
